This school year we expanded our growing capacity at the Wilshire Crest garden to produce more food to share with the school community. In February, we installed five new production rows and planted our first crops. By April we had our first huge harvest of 32 heads of Napa cabbage and 42 heads of lettuce!
Students take garden classes weekly inside the garden, learning about the plants they care for and how to integrate them with fun and easy cooking activities.
